AREA
In order to register you must live in an Emergency Service Levy (ESL) 4 or 5 area.
If you live in a country town or rural area you will generally be eligible for group membership. RFM will confirm your area eligibility when you apply.

You must be in reasonable health so as to maintain the reliability of the register.
For your own safety, as well as your neighbours’, we can only allow people that will not burden groups and RFM’s ultimate objectives.
BE WILLING TO SHARE YOUR DETAILS WITH OTHER LOCAL MEMBERS
Members must be able to share their locations in order to assist each other conduct hazard reduction burns, store equipment, and assist each other for fire management purposes.
As a local group member, you need to know which properties you are able to assist without interference.
